Commercial Property Manager What You’ll Do

As Property Manager, you will oversee the daily operations and financial performance of assigned commercial properties. You’ll lead maintenance teams, manage vendor relationships, oversee budgets, and ensure facilities operate efficiently, safely, and to the highest standard. This is an in person role that blends leadership, financial management, operations, and client interaction.

Operational Leadership
  • Oversee daily maintenance, upkeep, and overall property condition
  • Direct maintenance staff and contracted vendors
  • Assign and manage repair, renovation, and capital projects
  • Obtain bids and supervise outside contractors to ensure work meets specifications
  • Ensure facilities and equipment operate efficiently and safely
Financial Oversight
  • Plan and administer property operating budgets
  • Track labor and material costs
  • Issue financial and cost reports to ownership
  • Purchase building supplies, equipment, and materials
Team & Performance Management
  • Hire, train, and develop maintenance staff
  • Schedule team coverage to support operational needs
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback
  • Promote teamwork and accountability within the team
Tenant & Client Relations
  • Interact with tenants, clients, and vendors professionally
  • Coordinate tenant construction projects and promotions
  • Maintain strong communication and service standards
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Accounting, or related field)
  • 2–4+ years of property management or related leadership experience
  • Strong budgeting and financial reporting skills
  • Ability to interpret contracts, maintenance documents, and safety procedures
  • Strong problem-solving ability and sound decision-making skills
  • Experience supervising maintenance or operations teams
  • Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office required; JD Edwards a plus)
  • Certified Property Manager (CPM) or RPA certification required
  • Real Estate License
