Job Description & How to Apply Below

Launch your leadership career at a 5-Star Skilled Nursing Facility.

Are you looking for more than just an Administrator in Training position? Do you want to be mentored by a proven leader, gain hands‑on operational experience, and develop the skills needed to successfully lead a high‑performing skilled nursing facility?

We are seeking an ambitious, driven, and eager‑to‑learn Administrator in Training (AIT) to join our leadership team at our CMS 5-Star Skilled Nursing Facility
. This is an exceptional opportunity to learn every aspect of nursing home operations while working alongside an experienced Licensed Nursing Home Administrator who has successfully led the building for more than five years and has consistently achieved outstanding clinical, operational, and regulatory outcomes.

This is not a "sit and observe" internship. You will be actively involved in the day‑to‑day leadership of the facility while developing the knowledge and confidence necessary to become an exceptional nursing home administrator.

What You'll Learn
  • Clinical and regulatory operations

  • Financial management and budgeting

  • Census development and admissions

  • Marketing and hospital relationship building

  • Human resources and employee engagement

  • Survey readiness and quality assurance

  • Leadership development and team management

  • Customer service and resident satisfaction

  • Strategic planning and operational excellence

Why Train With Us?
  • Train in a CMS 5-Star facility recognized for excellent resident outcomes.

  • Learn directly from an Administrator with 5+ years of successful leadership experience in the same building.

  • Receive meaningful mentorship with daily coaching and feedback.

  • Gain exposure to all facets of skilled nursing facility operations—not just one department.

  • Participate in executive-level meetings and decision-making.

  • Develop relationships with regional leadership and industry professionals.

  • Position yourself for future Administrator opportunities within a growing organization.

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
  • Passionate about serving older adults.

  • Self-motivated and eager to learn.

  • A strong communicator with high integrity.

  • Adaptable and willing to embrace challenges.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • A proactive problem solver who enjoys leading teams.

  • Committed to continuous professional growth.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required (Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or related field preferred).

  • Eligible to participate in the state's Administrator in Training program.

  • Strong leadership potential and a desire to build a long-term career in post-acute care.

If you're looking for an opportunity to learn from a proven leader, make a meaningful impact on residents' lives, and accelerate your career toward becoming a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, we'd love to hear from you.
