Job Description Summary

The Setup Tech supports the production line by adhering to the designated production/mold change schedule, ensuring a quality bottle is ready for the production team and maintaining maximum machine efficiency through mold change and setup processes. Remaining committed to safety and ISO is essential.
Minimum Qualifications- High School diploma or GED
- Able to lift 35 pounds or more on a regular basis
- At least 2 years in a plastics environment with strong exposure to injection blow mold machines
- Understanding of use and application of basic hand tools
- Understanding of use and application of power tools
- Ability to maintain personal toolbox with needed tools to complete daily operations
- Make safety a #1 priority
- Keep the setup shop and current working area clean and safe
- Communicate with the Maintenance Manager regarding shop needs
- Communicate with Quality and Production teams on all pertinent information about impending bottle run
- Understand the working parts of machines relating to molds and tooling
- Know how to disassemble, clean, inspect and reassemble the machine heads and molds on all SBM & EBM machines
- Other duties as assigned
