Production Supervisor - rotating shift

Position: Production Supervisor - 12 hour rotating shift

** Job Purpose and Impact*
* The Production Supervisor - 12 hour rotating shift will provide strategic operational oversight for all production operating facilities with moderate presence in multiple regions or moderate degree of complexity. In this role, you will oversee and hold operating facilities accountable to standards for safety, quality, operational effectiveness and financial performance.

** Key Accountabilities*
* + Execute routine operations of assigned area, ensuring direct reports are following policies and procedures related to employee, food and feed safety and environmental compliance.

+ Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications.

+ Partner with production supervisors to meet customer specifications and timeline.

+ Develop operational plans and monitors routine operations for all production processes for multiple departments, processes and shifts.

+ Develop, supervise and provide coaching to direct reports including coaching company core values and guiding principles for assigned facilities or region.

+ Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.

** Qualifications*
* ** Minimum Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

+ Minimum one year of directly related work experience

+ Excellent leadership and communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels in the plant

+ Willing and able to work on a rotational shift including nights, weekends and holidays

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + One year of supervisory experience

+ Minimum of two years of experience in production and warehouse management

+ Lean Six Sigma

Work schedule:

6AM - 6PM or 6PM - 6AM rotating shifts every 2 months | 2 on 2 off 3 on, 2 off

+ Position is based in Tacoma, WA

The expected salary for this position is $75K- $85K. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award.

The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
