CNC Lathe Machinist

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced CNC Lathe Machinists for projects located in or around Tacoma, WA
. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $28-$36/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Machinist and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathe machines to manufacture precision metal components
• Develop and optimize machining processes to improve efficiency, quality, and productivity
• Create and modify simple CNC programs using M-Code and G-Code at the machine
• Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine accessories as required for production
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
• Use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment to verify part dimensions and tolerances

• Minimum of 5 years of CNC lathe machining experience
• Proven experience setting up CNC lathes and producing precision‑machined parts
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining principles, tooling, and manufacturing processes
• Working knowledge of M-Code and G-Code programming
• Ability to create and edit simple machine programs at the machine
• Experience using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related inspection tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
