Machine Operator Assistant
Established metal fabrication company in Tacoma is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator Assistants to join their production team. This is a great opportunity for individuals with manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm Pay per hour: $20.50
Job Duties:
- Assist in the setup and operation of metal fabrication machinery
- Support the production process by feeding, aligning, and removing materials from machines
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform basic machine adjustments and report equipment issues to supervisors
- Move materials and finished products throughout the production area
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Previous manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
- Comfortable working around machinery and production equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift
- Reliable attendance and stable work history
