Compensation range for onsite WA applicants is $30.38/hour. All applicants are welcome to apply. Prepare items to be shipped checking to sure that items match the packing sl - ip.
Perform a final quality control check of all parts before shipping to the custom - er.
Package, protect and box items to be shipp - ed.
Maintain understanding of all shipping information and regulatio - ns.
Package up support parts in boxes for large shipmen - ts.
Assist in crating and securing large machines and equipme - nt.
Follow up on shipments to confirm arrival da - te.
Receive parts into the ERP system within 2 hours of recei - pt.
Issue parts from inventory per ERP Pick Li - st.
Organize and maintain Job Carts, parts storage bins and shelv - es.
Bag and label completed spare parts going into inventory & add to inventory cou - nt.
Process returns to vendors. (for credit/repair/evaluation/replacement/et - c.)Occasionally assemble spare par
- ts.
Assist supply chain by managing inventory and follow up on open purchase orde - rs.
Acquire pricing and availability (lead time) information from assigned vendo - rs.
Assist with problem-solving that relates to Purchasi - ng.
Promptly update AST's ERP system when new information is acquir - ed.
Effectively communicate new information to appropriate AST personn - el.
Use small hand tools to build shipping crat - es.

High School Diploma or GED, plus 1 year of experience in shipping, receiving, and/or purchas - ing.
Understand Microsoft Excel, Word, and MRP Sys - tem.
Experience in a made to order, engineered to order manufacturing environment a p - lus.
Forklift, Scissor Lift, and Crane certified, or ability to get certif - ied.
Quality conscious with the ability to meet productivity go - als.
Self-motivated, energetic, dependable, honest, and thoro - ugh.
Eager to cooperate with others with good interpersonal communication ski - lls.
Ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and ta - skts.
Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance requi - red.
Ability to sit or stand continuously for up to 8 hours per day requi - red.
Ability to bend, squat, kneel and reach out and above shoulders requi - red.
Ability to work overtime including weekends to meet customer deadlines as requi - red.
