We have a few needs for 2ndand 3rdshift machinists at our Windsor CT facility. We are looking for 2 different types of machinists. We need people that have some milling experience, and lathe experience, but we also need people who are more mature and that can act as leads in the future on our off shifts.

A great Machinist is reliable, with a willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential as all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers. They will ensure that procedures are carried out smoothly, to maximize efficiency and profits.

• Set-up and run multi axis machines
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed and feeds)
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift
• Meet job requirements with minimal supervision

• 5+ years on CNC Mills or CNC Lathes
• Working knowledge of high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)
• Understanding of machining procedures
• Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and manuals
• Strong Mathematical Skills
• Analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Physical stamina and strength
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
• Experience in aerospace industry
• Experience with live tooling machines
• Programming experience on cad system
