Job Description
The Machinist role involves precision grinding of machine parts including outside diameter (OD), inside diameter (), and centerless grinding. This position supports the Aerospace, Airline, and Defense industries and offers flexible working hours. While some experience is preferred, training is available for motivated candidates. Compensation is based on skills and experience, with paid holidays, PTO, and benefit eligibility after 90 days.
Responsibilities- Perform OD, , and centerless grinding on machine parts
- Maintain manual grinding equipment for optimal performance
- Ensure quality control adheres to industry, company, and customer standards
- Work independently under the direction of the Shop Foreman
- Follow safety protocols and company policies
- Adapt to flexible scheduling to meet production needs
- Entry-level experience in machining and grinding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Familiarity with precision measurement tools
- Tool maintenance knowledge
- Strong commitment to safety compliance
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
