  • Performing comprehensive patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and designing personalized care strategies
  • Diagnosing and managing both acute and chronic health conditions collaboratively with physicians or working autonomously based on credentialing
  • Equipping patients and their families with vital knowledge on prevention, wellness lifestyle, and chronic disease management
  • Prescribing necessary medications and therapeutic interventions within the parameters of practice
  • Engaging in patients' follow-up care and chronic disease management
  • Working in concert with interdisciplinary teams to guarantee smooth and comprehensive patient care
  • Accurately documenting clinical findings within electronic health records (EHR)
Educational Prerequisites
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Essential Certifications
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Washington State
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or applicable specialty
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure within 90 days)
