Overview

Puget Sound Home Health and Hospice is seeking an experienced and caring full or part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our Home Health division in the Pierce County area.

Position:
Full-Time (or part-time).

Location:

Pierce County.

Schedule:

Day shifts only (no nights). Care settings:
Patient homes, assisted living facilities (ALFs), adult family homes (AFHs).

Responsibilities
  • Provide one‑on‑one care to multiple patients daily in their home settings, with visit‑based scheduling.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
  • Take and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure).
  • Assist with range‑of‑motion exercises and mobility support.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the patient’s living space.
  • Observe and report changes in the patient’s condition to the case manager.
  • Follow the plan of care as directed by a registered nurse or therapist.
Qualifications
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in Washington State.
  • Must have CNA experience in a home health or hospice agency.
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association required).
  • Experience with HCHB EMR preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and insured, reliable vehicle.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Compassionate, dependable, and comfortable working with elderly or terminally ill individuals.
