Weatherly Inn is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support high-quality resident care in our assisted living community. This role is ideal for a nurse who values teamwork, strong clinical standards, and meaningful relationships with residents and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with care plans and physician orders
- Administer medications, treatments, and CBG checks with accurate documentation
- Monitor and document changes in resident condition and report concerns promptly
- Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Complete shift reports, narcotic counts, and incident documentation
- Follow infection control, safety procedures, and boarding home regulations
- Serve as Charge Nurse when scheduled or in absence of supervision
- Maintain a clean, organized nursing station and medication room
- High School Diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred
- 1+ year of nursing or related experience preferred
- Active Washington State LPN License required
- Required certifications (upon hire or within designated timeframe):
- CPR (within 30 days)
- Fundamentals of Caregiving
- Dementia & Mental Health Training (within 90 days)
- Strong nursing, documentation, organization, and multitasking skills
- Ability to lift, assist, and support residents with mobility as needed
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a care team
- Professional, reliable, and calm in emergency situations
