Job

Pediatric Nurses work with patients from infancy to young adulthood, giving developmental screenings, immunizations, and treating common illnesses like chickenpox and tonsillitis. They work closely with family doctors, pediatricians and other nurses to provide preventive as well as critical care. As a Pediatric Nurse, you’ll also teach patients’ parents and family members how to prevent childhood diseases, and about proper nutrition for growth and development.

Pediatric Nurses are responsible for the care of children, including developmental screenings, immunizations, and treatment of common illnesses, coordination with family doctors and other healthcare team members, education of parents and caregivers, and ensuring safe and effective patient care.

Minimum of 1 year of current work experience providing in . State Healthcare Provider license or willing to obtain one.

This position may require one or more of these certifications.
