Part-Time Weekend Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Peoples Senior Living | Tacoma, WA

What You'll Do

As our Weekend LPN, you'll serve as a clinical leader and trusted resource for residents, families, caregivers, and healthcare providers.

Responsibilities include:

Monitoring resident health status and responding to changes in condition

Managing diabetic care, including blood glucose monitoring and insulin administration

Coordinating communication with physicians, home health agencies, pharmacies, and other healthcare partners

Building positive relationships with residents and their families

Participating in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings

Providing clinical oversight, guidance, and support to caregivers and Medication Technicians

Ensuring resident care is delivered with dignity, compassion, and excellence

Supporting compliance with state regulations and community policies

Promoting a positive, resident-centered culture throughout the community

What We're Looking For

Current Washington State LPN license in good standing

Knowledge of nursing practices, medication administration, and geriatric care

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Ability to remain calm, organized, and effective in a fast-paced environment

Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented approach

High level of professionalism and attention to detail

Experience in assisted living, memory care, behavioral health, or long-term care preferred

Therapeutic Options and Hand in Hand training is a plus
