Job Title: House Manager
Hourly Rate: $
Shift: AM Shift
Position: Full‑time (Monday‑Friday, 07:45‑16:00)
Location: Tacoma, WA (98417)
Redwood Family Care Network provides person‑centered home and community‑based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The House Manager ensures the health, safety, and quality of care for clients in private homes, oversees staff, maintains regulatory compliance, and promotes a positive, life‑enriching environment for clients and families.
Responsibilities- Promptly report suspected abuse and complete mandated reporting within 24 hours.
- Provide direct care and maintain client confidentiality, completing all required consents, HIPAA, and other paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with Washington State regulations, SAILS Washington policies, and company procedures.
- Supervise, train, and mentor direct support staff; conduct performance reviews and ongoing training.
- Manage staffing schedules and labor hours to meet care needs and client goals.
- Coordinate transportation for medical appointments, therapies, work, school, and recreational activities.
- Monitor client funds, review petty cash, and ensure proper use of client resources.
- Assess and implement individualized activity and behavioral plans with behaviorists and clinicians.
- Conduct weekly compliance checks, medication audits, and submit reports to the Area Director.
- Communicate with agencies, families, and other service providers; attend client PCSP meetings and IISP reviews.
- Report home repair needs and oversee maintenance to ensure a safe living environment.
- Serve as a crisis on‑call responder when designated.
- Maintain accurate documentation, client records, and all required reports.
- Background check and compliance with staff safety policies.
- Valid Washington State background check and CPI Blue Card.
- Completion of CORE Basic Training (75 hours), Nursing Delegation, CPR/First Aid, and other state or agency required training.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to maintain client confidentiality.
- Knowledge of DDA policies, client rights, mandated reporting, and incident reporting.
- Organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving abilities; proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple client needs, and maintain a high level of care quality.

The role is field‑based and may involve standing, walking, and reaching; must be able to lift up to 10 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally. The job may require exposure to weather conditions, and staff may encounter difficult client behaviors and language.
