Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse – Travel Nursing (Tacoma, WA)
About the PositionAxis Medical Staffing (also referenced by agencies such as Wanderly, Atlas Med Staff, Cynet Health, Flex Care, Fusion Medical Staffing, Puzzle Healthcare) is seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse for a 3×12 hour night shift travel assignment in Tacoma, WA. Current shift start date is 08/10/2026 and the assignment will last 13 weeks.
Responsibilities- Provide care to newborn infants in the NICU.
- Carry out in‑home health assessments (6–9 per day).
- Review medical history and risk factors.
- Collect vitals, labs, and screenings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for patient management.
- Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of Washington.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience (NICU).
- Experience in neonatal care (preferred).
Shift: 3×12 hour nights (flexible).
Compensation$45.00 per hour.
