Schedule Options:
Some flexibility on days of the week within swing shift hours (3pm - 11pm) on Wednesday to Saturday and Sunday to Tuesday.

Provide nursing and medical services. Serves as a member of an organization that welcomes, engages, and serves individuals with complex wellness needs.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing and medical services to clients.
- Provide education regarding prescribed treatment.
- Document in the progress notes the provision of care and the clinical and behavioral observations of clients.
- Administer and document medications, adhering to state and program guidelines.
- Provide first aid and emergency medical care as needed, following program guidelines.
- Transcribe provider orders, following program protocols.
- Measure and document client vital signs.
- Perform other duties within scope of practice as outlined by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
- Attend all mandatory meetings.
- Maintain licensure, certification, and other requirements for the position.
- Observe and assess clients in terms of therapeutic response to medication and the nursing care plan.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living as appropriate.
- Assist in monitoring and documenting medical supplies, floor stock, and pharmacy communication.
- Assist in all aspects of the laboratory specimen collection and throughput.
- Adhere to program’s infection control policy and protocols.
- Plan and lead educational and information groups for clients as assigned.
- Work to ensure effective communication among team members during and between shifts.
- Coordinate with school and staff regarding outside medical appointments and activities.
- Transport and attend medical appointments with residents.
- Work with team members to create and contribute to a positive learning environment for all.
- Adhere to the incident reporting process and safety protocols.
- Ensure that ethical and professional standards of practice are maintained.
- Understand and respect diverse backgrounds and commit to culturally competent practice.
- Demonstrate ethical decision‑making skills and appropriate boundaries.
- Promote whole health care as a key to people’s recovery and quality of life.
- Receive consultation, apply feedback, be accountable, and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Develop and maintain a self‑care plan, seek supervision when needed, and recognize signs of burnout.
- Complete paperwork and documentation within required time frames, meeting content requirements.
- Apply appropriate codes to patient care services as outlined by program guidelines.
- Comply with competencies determined by the Nursing Director.
- Participate in competency trainings identified by Human Resources and assigned program.
- Observe and assess clients in terms of therapeutic response to medication and the nursing care plan.
- Valid WA State Licensed Practical Nurse, or multi‑state or compact licensure.
- One year work experience preferred.
- Experience or knowledge of psychotropic medications.
- Current CPR certification preferred (can be completed upon hire).
- If the role requires driving, must have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and a working vehicle.
