Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will deliver compassionate, high‑quality care that impacts patient well‑being and recovery. You will provide individualized, comprehensive care, make critical assessments, perform skilled procedures, and implement patient care plans. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, focusing on optimal outcomes.

• Adhere to the department’s and hospital’s policies and procedures, including safety, risk management, and regulatory standards.
• Administer, oversee, and document medications (e.g., topical, oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intravenous) as ordered.
• Assess patients—including physical, psychosocial, cultural, behavioral/emotional, developmental, and spiritual needs; gather data relevant for care; implement appropriate interventions and evaluate outcomes; plan care; provide holistic nursing care; prepare patients for discharge and coordinate post‑discharge needs.
• Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and competence; use appropriate communication tools; understand how culture(s) impact care.
• Engage in professional growth opportunities and meet deadlines for mandatory requirements.
• Document care using the nursing process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with physician orders.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, upon hire.
• One to two years Med/Surg experience with completion of Mother/Baby Education program or new graduate with completion of senior practicum in L&D, Mother/Baby unit or nursery.
• Registered Nurse: WA, upon hire.
• Basic Life Support – CPR, upon hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program, within 6 months.

• Bachelor of Science Nursing and one year of related work experience in an acute care setting, upon hire.
• Previous Mother‑Baby experience.
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring, upon hire.

Pay Range: $47.86 - $90.42 /hour.
