Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Part Time

About Your Role

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, you will meet with clients—typically adults who have been discharged from state hospitals or reside in assisted living facilities or adult family homes—and who have challenging behaviors to manage. You will conduct individualized psychiatric medication evaluations, prescribe medication, and provide follow‑up visits as needed. The role works weekdays with occasional evenings and weekends, and includes on‑call responsibility twice a year.

Location: Tacoma, WA area.
Part‑time: 20 hours a week.

• $70‑$80 per hour

• PMHNP preference and an active ARNP license in WA (or ability to obtain one)
• Active DEA registration
• Prior experience working with the geriatric population and/or adults
• Intermediate technology skills for at‑home tele‑health service
• Willingness and ability to travel once a month or every other month to facilities across Washington counties for in‑person client meetings
• Satisfactory State and Federal background checks
• Reliable transportation with valid automobile insurance
