Nursing Assistant
Nursing Assistant functions as a member of the nursing care team and assist nursing staff to provide care to geriatric veterans with acute to chronic conditions. The distinguishing factor is that patient assignments typically involve more complex nursing needs which can vary within a range of predictable to unpredictable requirements. Performs activities of daily living and provides a range of care that contributes to treatment plan, recovery, or remain comfortable toward the end of life.
