About the Role

Weatherly Inn is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Support Nurse to assist nursing leadership with clinical coordination, documentation, compliance, and daily operational support. This role blends hands-on nursing responsibilities with administrative oversight to ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Nurse Manager with assessments, care plans, and incident follow-up

  • Review and complete incident reports in a timely manner

  • Conduct daily rounds to assess resident care, staff performance, and safety

  • Organize and maintain resident charts and documentation

  • Assist with medication reviews, pharmacy orders, and audits (eMAR/eTAR)

  • Coordinate care with physicians, hospice, home health, and outside providers

  • Assist with staffing coverage for med carts and nurse lunch breaks as needed

  • Monitor logs, inventory (including oxygen), and expired medications

  • Respond to emergencies and report concerns per policy and state regulations

  • Address resident and family concerns professionally

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required (college degree preferred)

  • Washington State nursing license required

  • 1+ year nursing or related experience preferred

  • CPR & First Aid (within 30 days of hire)

  • Dementia & Mental Health Training (within 90 days of hire)

  • Strong documentation, organization, and multitasking skills

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist residents

  • Stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout shift
