About This Role

The Staff Nurse at Kaiser Permanente provides nursing care to a defined group of patients, ensuring adherence to health standards and policies. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who excel in patient assessment and care coordination.

• Pay: $44 - $81/hour

• Schedule: Full Time

• Provide ongoing assessment of nursing care needs for a defined group of patients.
• Develop a written plan of care based on nursing diagnosis and patient needs.
• Assist patients and families in developing health care goals as part of the care plan.
• Provide nursing interventions safely and competently.
• Offer telephone consultation to patients and families.
• Evaluate patients' responses to care and modify care plans as needed.
• Communicate patients' psychosocial, cultural, and emotional needs during interactions.
• Develop educational components for nursing care plans and provide teaching/counseling.
• Assess patient lifestyle risk factors and promote self-care responsibility.
• Participate in continued education programs and nursing research.

Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

Experience:

• Experienced level required

Certifications:

• Current RN License in Washington
