We are currently seeking a Licensed Registered Nurse to support our clinic in Tacoma, WA. This position, reporting to the Clinic Director, is an excellent opportunity for someone excited to make an immediate and lasting impact in a growing company.

Ambulatory care nursing practice is a complex, multifaceted specialty that is both independent and collaborative as nurse partner with patients, caregivers, physicians, and other health care professionals to met the health and illness needs of individuals, groups and communities.

The RN will also perform nursing services to patients in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, telephone triage, performing patient education, care coordination, assessing patient’s physical and psychological needs, administering medications, assisting providers with procedures, and responding to medical emergencies.

Indian Preference applies. Qualified Indian (American Indian or Alaskan Native) applicants will receive preference in accordance with 25 U.S.C. § 5323 and 25 U.S.C. § 472a.

Graduate of accredited RN program, bachelor’s degree in nursing highly desirable.

Active RN License in good standing.

Must maintain continuing education credits as required by the Board of Licensure and organizational needs.

5 years clinical experience.

One year leadership position highly desirable.

BLS Certification, ACLS Certification preferred.

• Perform patient assessments, obtain vital signs, document clinical history, and identify physical or psychological needs.

• Support ambulatory care visits including chronic disease management, acute complaints, wound care, and minor procedures.
