Neonatal Hospitalist

Pediatrix is seeking a BC Neonatal Hospitalist to join a collaborative NICU team at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. This role offers an opportunity to work in a high-acuity Level III/IV facility with approximately 4,000 annual deliveries, alongside rotations through Level II nurseries in Auburn and Puyallup. Clinicians will enjoy a schedule featuring 24-hour in-house shifts that provide extended time off between rotations.

Practice Info

• High-acuity NICU with approximately 4,000 annual deliveries
• Mary Bridge Children's Hospital, attached to Tacoma General Hospital, a premier Level III/IV facility
• Rotate through Level II nurseries in Auburn and Puyallup
• Auburn Regional accepts babies 34 weeks
• Good Samaritan (Puyallup) accepts babies 32 weeks
• Collaborate with a dedicated group of neonatologists, NNPs, and pediatric specialists

Responsibilities

• Care for newborns and their families in a high-acuity NICU
• Rotate through Level II nurseries in Auburn and Puyallup

Compensation

• Pay Range (Base Pay): $230,000-$250,000

Shift & Schedule

• 24-hour in-house shifts
• Regular full-time is classified as team members who are consistently scheduled and work 30 hours or more on a weekly basis

Requirements

• BC Pediatrics with prior hospitalist experience preferred but not required
• Accepting Pediatrician candidates who have not completed a Pediatric Hospitalist fellowship but have an interest in working with neonates and within the NICU
