Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Registered Nurses to join our inpatient team. This is a .9 FTE, three 12 hours shifts per week with rotating weekends.

Wellfound Behavioral Health Hospital is a 120 bed adult inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Tacoma, WA. We are a nonprofit hospital awarded both Department of Health and Joint Commission accreditation.

This position promotes and restores patient’s mental health in a safe and therapeutic environment through direct nursing care to assigned patients within the nursing process. RN’s participate in the care plans of our patients and their wrap around services. They provide physical and psychological support to our patients and provide clinical leadership for other staff on the unit. Our RN’s maintain a hopeful and positive attitude in problem-solving and coping, while promoting and maintaining a harmonious and effective relationships and communications with the patients.

They serve as a role model to staff promoting the Wellfound Values, a positive work environment and efficient, quality patient care.

• Hourly- $41.12- $76.24 based on the union scale for experience

• Associate degree in nursing, BSN preferred.
• Current Washington State license without restrictions or accepted compact license
• One year inpatient psychiatric nursing experience required
• Candidate should possess strong nursing assessment skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) card through American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
