PACU RN No Call or Weekends 's Tacoma

The PACU RN position involves providing nursing care to patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit, with no call, weekends, or holidays required. This role is ideal for nurses with Phase I and/or ICU experience.

• Pay: $44 - $81/hour

• Provide ongoing assessment of nursing care needs for a defined group of patients.
• Develop a written plan of care for patient care needs.
• Assist patients and families in developing health care goals.
• Determine priorities of patient care based on essential needs and resources.
• Provide nursing interventions safely and competently.
• Communicate recognition of patients' psychosocial, cultural, and emotional needs.
• Develop an educational component for each nursing care plan.
• Promote patient self-care responsibility for meeting their own health needs.
• Participate in continued education programs to meet learning needs.
• Assure quality of care through development and evaluation of professional nursing standards.

• WA State RN license and/or Compact Multistate RN license required.

• Strongly prefer Phase I experience and/or ICU experience.

• AHA American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS upon hire.
