- Salary: $24 – $30 per hour

Commencement Bay Animal Hospital in Tacoma, WA is searching for a rockstar Veterinary technician to join our team.

We are open Monday through Friday, no weekends.
We are looking for a credentialed veterinary technician with strong technical skills, passionate about learning and caring for animals. A technician who has an interest in learning Urgent Care and General practice medicine.

Duties include:
- Assist veterinarians with advanced patient care, including exams, treatments, surgeries, and anesthesia monitoring
- Perform skilled technical procedures such as IV catheter placement, blood draws, and nursing care for hospitalized patients
- Conduct diagnostic testing, including laboratory analysis, radiology, and sample collection
- Administer medications, vaccines, and therapeutic treatments in compliance with medical protocols
- Provide client education, maintain detailed medical records, and support high standards of patient care and safety
