As the Learn to Skate Instructor and Figure Skating Coach Temporary (Extra Hire), you will be responsible for teaching Learn to Skate classes and figure skating to ages 4 years - Adult.

How to be Successful in the RoleBring in your familiarity of the ISI Learn to Skate Curriculum and your knowledge of US Figure Skating programming. We want someone who enjoys working with children and adults. Be skilled in managing large group of skaters and can motivate and engage skaters of all ages and abilities. You will be ice skating and wearing figure skates for long periods of time and must be able to work in cool temperatures.
Also, work a varied schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Responsible for teaching the fundamentals of ice skating and more advanced figure skating such as jumps, spins, skating skills, etc.
- Assist with special events, competitions, and camps
- Maintain a safe, clean, and family‑friendly environment
- Assist customers in the event of an injury
- Perform other job functions as assigned
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- High school graduate
- Must be a US Figure Skating Pre‑Gold or Gold Medalist in one of the following areas:
Skating Skills (Moves in the Field), Freestyle, Ice Dancing, Pair Skating - Minimum of 6 months as a Learn To Skate class helper
