This is a great opportunity for someone early in their QA/QC career who wants to learn, grow, and build strong food safety and quality fundamentals in a high-standard seafood production environment.

  • Chemical concentration testing
  • Metal detector checks
  • Product inspection and sampling
  • Perform sensory evaluations to assess product quality, freshness, and conformance to standards.
  • Collect and prepare product samples for microbial testing and other routine quality verification activities.
  • Help identify and elevate issues quickly when product or process conditions fall outside expected standards.
Support Sanitation & Environmental Monitoring
  • Perform environmental monitoring tasks, including:
  • ATP swabbing
  • Water and ice sample collection
  • Food-contact and facility swabbing
  • Verify equipment and facility sanitation prior to startup and support ongoing sanitation checks as needed.
  • Help ensure the production environment is maintained in a clean, controlled, and audit-ready condition.
Maintain GMP & Compliance Discipline
  • Support enforcement of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and daily food safety expectations throughout the facility.
  • Assist with internal audits, routine inspections, and traceability checks.
  • Help ensure production activities align with internal quality standards and applicable regulatory or customer requirements.
  • Support adherence to HACCP and other food safety programs through careful observation, documentation, and escalation of issues.
Own Accurate Documentation
  • Complete quality and food safety records clearly, accurately, and on time.
  • Maintain organized digital and paper documentation related to daily checks, monitoring activities, and compliance programs.
  • Use computers and digital tools to enter and maintain production and QA/QC records.
  • Help ensure records are complete, legible, and audit-ready.
What You’ll Need
