Level II UTT NDT Technician

Position Title

Level II NDT UTT

Tacoma, WA - US Oil

Full‑time, hourly, non‑exempt

$23 - $28 per hour, DOE

The NDT Level II will be responsible for performing onsite NDT inspections, coordinating projects, and maintaining customer relations at the facility.

• Perform NDT inspections.
• Understand and communicate upcoming project schedules.
• Collect and submit reports and timesheets as needed.
• Maintain positive customer relations on the site.
• Walk down drawings.
• Assist with API inspections.
• Report to operations team to coordinate work and equipment needs in a timely manner.
• Ensure site equipment is current on calibration.

• Minimum UT (Thickness) certification; additional certifications are a plus.
• Current NDT certifications in UTT and MT, with PT and RT preferred.
• Current TWIC card (or ability to obtain).
• Current driver’s license.
• Experience in the petrochemical industry strongly preferred.
• Strong computer skills and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, with a desire to advance toward API certifications and team leadership.
