PABCO Roofing Products is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to support and promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally compliant workplace. This position is responsible for assisting with the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety, health, and environmental programs while partnering with employees and leaders to foster a strong safety culture throughout the facility.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and maintain safety and environmental programs and documentation.
  • Assist with employee safety training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness initiatives.
  • Maintain employee training records and compliance documentation.
  • Conduct workplace inspections, audits, and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
  • Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
  • Support environmental compliance efforts, including permitting, reporting, inspections, and waste management activities.
  • Assist with emergency preparedness and response programs.
  • Communicate safety expectations and best practices with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Stay informed of applicable regulatory requirements and support plant compliance efforts.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two or more years of related experience in manufacturing, safety, environmental compliance, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to deliver training and communicate effectively with employees and management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience conducting incident investigations.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Safety certifications or related training are a plus.

This individual should be able to build relationships, influence positive behaviors, and help drive continuous improvement across the facility.

Pay Range

$27.00 to $38.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
