The FAI Coordinator supports the timely completion of First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) by organizing required documentation, creating and maintaining Forms 1-3 in Net-Inspect, and coordinating the FAI schedule. This position reviews customer-owned engineering and supporting records to accurately populate FAI documentation, communicates established priorities to the FAI team, and follows up on open items to keep product moving. The role is primarily administrative and coordination focused.
Technical, aerospace, manufacturing, or inspection experience is desired but not required; training will be provided to develop FAI and Quality Assurance knowledge. As skills and capability develop, this position may support basic product inspection and measurement activities and provides an opportunity to grow into higher-level Quality Assurance roles.

- Ability to review customer-owned engineering drawings, specifications, and purchase order requirements to identify information needed for FAI documentation; prior technical drawing experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to learn, create, update, and maintain AS9102 Forms 1, 2, and 3 in Net-Inspect or similar systems
- Strong document control and record organization skills, including gathering certifications, material records, special process certifications, inspection records, and other required FAI documentation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain an accurate FAI schedule based on established production and customer priorities
- Strong follow-up skills with the ability to track open actions, missing documentation, and dependencies through completion
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across Quality, Engineering, Operations, Planning, and other departments
- High attention to detail and accuracy when entering data and reviewing documentation
- Ability to work independently within established processes and elevate issues when information, documentation, or support is needed
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and electronic document systems, preferred
- Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements, engineering drawings, GD&T, or dimensional inspection, preferred but not required
- Proficient:
Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and electronic quality/document management systems;
Net-Inspect experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- 1-2 years of administrative, document control, manufacturing, quality, or related experience, preferred but not required
- Experience working with detailed records, technical documentation, or data entry, preferred
- Previous aerospace, manufacturing, quality, inspection, or technical experience, preferred but not required

- Create and maintain AS9102 Forms 1, 2, and 3 in Net-Inspect using customer-owned engineering and available production records
- Gather and organize required FAI supporting documentation, including certifications, material records, special process certifications, inspection results, and other objective evidence
