Merchandiser - Pierce

Job Summary

Responsible for daily stocking, rotating, pulling of products, and product displays at customer locations in the Pierce County region. Works under minimal to direct supervision to ensure accurate and timely work and supports grocery stores by following safety and housecleaning policies.

Pay range: $21.65 - $23.50 per hour, depending on experience.

• Daily stocking, rotating, pulling of products, and product displays at customer locations in a timely and accurate manner.
• Visit customer locations to merchandise and maintain products through stocking, rotating, dusting, and building displays.
• Stock and rotate products on the floor, in coolers, bins, or shelves according to style, size, and type identifying information.
• Examine stock to verify conformance to quality specifications and take pride in product distribution.
• Perform essential job duties on time, efficiently, accurately, and safely, often during peak hours of operations.
• Accurately document the number of products or items received, distributed, or set aside due to damage or out‑of‑date status.
• Participate in and receive on‑the‑job training related to Odom procedures for merchandiser duties.
• Maintain a safe and clean working area by discarding trash and empty boxes before leaving each customer assignment.
• Display promotional materials, such as POS and signage, according to company and store policies.
• Build displays according to Supervisor/Sales Representative directions.

• Minimum age 18 with a valid driver’s license, good driving record, proof of insurance (SR‑22 not acceptable), and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Preference for knowledge of the beverage industry or grocery retail experience.
• Self‑motivated, self‑starter, able to work with very little direct supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized, able to work quickly and accurately while handling competing priorities.

• Auto insurance (required).
• Non‑DOT (required).

• Operate a pallet jack and hand cart to transport products safely.
• Constantly lift/move/push/pull 27‑55 pounds; occasionally up to 170 pounds.
• Regularly stand, walk, lift from floor to waist and to shoulders or overhead, use hands and arms, talk and hear; occasionally sit, climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Moderate noise level in the work environment, occasionally high due to outside factors.
