1-800-GOT-JUNK? in Greater Seattle is looking for a Business Development professional to focus on Local Commercial Sales growth. We’re part of the World’s Largest Junk Removal Service, with 177 independent and locally owned locations across the US, Canada, & Australia, and we’re known for revolutionizing the industry through the consistent delivery of our world-class customer experience.
As the Commercial Account Manager, you will engage with existing commercial customers to grow our recurring/repeat business as well as generate new business through various lead gen and prospecting tactics. This position is based in Tacoma and is responsible for local commercial sales and customer acquisition throughout the greater Seattle territory, as well as remote support for Portland, Oregon & San Diego, California.
About the position:- Lead Generation:
Consistently completes high volume sales activity including outbound calls, on-site estimates and proposals, top account management, referrals, networking, virtual and in-person prospecting, and building new local business relationships - Drive Profitability:
Understand and help drive franchise profitability through customer relationships, competitive and accurate proposals, and maximizing existing and new commercial customers business acquisition. - Marketplace Knowledge: Maintain a high level understanding of competitor and market trends with ability to apply knowledge, adjusting sales approach and strong decision-making.
- Key Partnerships:
Build relationship with our Truck Teams, General Managers, National Accounts and Strategic Alliances teams to maximize sales opportunities - Data Management: Effectively use our Sales App to track and report on sales activity; track sales goals and performance metrics
- Fast paced, high-energy office environment, Hybrid work available following training period.
- Work hours during regular business hours 8am-8pm, flexible to meet customer and business needs
- Frequent travel within assigned territory;
Occasional overnight travel for conferences & training opportunities - Demonstrate the ability to work independently with high levels of communications
- Reporting to Franchise leader in person and online

- Strong background in new business development - you’re experienced in growing revenue through net new customers sales

- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in business-to-business sales
- Experience increasing net new sales and a successful track record of meeting aggressive sales targets
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
- Valid Driver’s License & reliable transportation
- Proficient in G Suite and Salesforce a plus
- $70-$80k base salary
- Uncapped commissions
