Broker, Sales, Client Relationship Manager

Maddock & Associates is looking for an experienced Benefits Broker to join our employee benefits team.

For more than 55 years, Maddock & Associates has helped Washington employers make thoughtful, informed decisions about their employee benefits programs. We are looking for someone who understands the benefits industry, values strong client relationships, and enjoys helping employers navigate complex decisions with clarity and care.

In this role, you will work directly with employer clients to understand their needs, review benefit options, support renewals, and provide practical recommendations throughout the year.

Responsibilities may include:

• Develop new business opportunities while maintaining strong client relationships
• Meet sales and growth goals while maintaining accurate activity records
• Advising employers on employee benefits strategy and plan options
• Supporting renewals, open enrollment, implementation, and ongoing service needs
• Working with carriers and vendor partners to evaluate coverage solutions
• Presenting recommendations in a clear, helpful, and professional way
• Staying current on market trends, carrier updates, and compliance considerations
• Collaborating with the Maddock team to provide reliable client support

We are looking for someone who is experienced, thoughtful, and service‑minded.

A strong candidate will have:

• Experience in employee benefits, insurance, or brokerage services
• Knowledge of group health and employee benefits programs
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A proactive approach to client service and problem solving
• Attention to detail and strong follow‑through
  
  An active insurance license, or the ability to obtain one as required
