Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Producer to join our growing team in Tacoma, WA. The Employee Benefits Producer is responsible for increasing sales volume by developing new client relationships and expanding existing accounts.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain a professional network, identify new leads, and qualify opportunities that meet company standards.
- Establish, cultivate, and manage customer relationships with clients, carrier partners, and internal resources.
- Conduct risk management surveys, determine insurance coverage needs, develop stewardship reporting, and advise clients on coverage options.
- Prepare documentation for new business and renewal proposals, negotiate quotes for coverage placement, and present proposals to decision‑makers.
- Review and resolve client disputes regarding complex claims and ensure consistent application of agency guidelines and policies.
- Actively participate in industry associations and promote the company’s image and teamwork.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance industry.
- College degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Producer license in good standing.
- Strong technical knowledge of all lines of insurance coverage (preferred).
- Familiarity with agency management systems and related insurance sales applications (preferred).
Annual salary: $100,000 – $200,000.
