You will be the face of the program regionally, combining B2B sales capability, technical understanding, and genuine relationship‑building to drive enrollment and long‑term satisfaction.
Ideal candidates are comfortable working autonomously, navigating ambiguity, and supporting program incubation efforts alongside a small, specialized team.

- Act as the local, on‑site representative for the program and CLEAResult, meeting directly with businesses, plant managers, and facility teams
- Encourage customer participation and help overcome enrollment barriers
- Develop and deliver proposals tailored to customer needs and load‑reduction opportunities
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for customer questions, concerns, and event participation support
- Educate customers on how DR events work and help them identify operational strategies (e.g., shifting production to off‑peak hours) that reduce grid strain
- Explain program requirements, incentives, and changes with clarity and professionalism
- Verify implementation steps and ensure all customer paperwork is accurate and complete
- Ensure customers understand expectations before, during, and after DR events
- Troubleshoot technical or programmatic issues and recommend solutions aligned with program specifications
- Collaborate with engineering and program teams to evaluate technical requirements or changes
- Record and track customer interactions, documentation, and status updates using approved systems
- Support program operations by preparing sales forecasts, tracking participation metrics, and communicating updates to the Program Manager
- Travel throughout Eastern Washington and North Western Idaho
- Conduct on‑site customer visits, assessments, and in‑person engagement activities
- Strong B2B sales ability rooted in authentic relationship‑building
- Understanding of the regional business community and local economic landscape
- Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills
- Ability to translate technical requirements into clear, practical explanations
- Strong customer‑service skills when working with facility managers and business owners
- Ability to troubleshoot technical and operational issues
- Strong documentation, organization, and reporting habits
- Comfort with autonomous work and owning regional responsibilities
- Ability to manage a large, mixed‑tier territory with professionalism and initiative
In this exciting career opportunity, you will have:
- 5–8 years of relevant industry experience (energy programs, demand response, utility programs, C&I account management, or technical sales)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (relevant certifications may substitute for experience)
- Familiarity with commercial or industrial facilities, operations, or energy use patterns
- Comfort driving success in a new or rapidly evolving program environment
- Enthusiasm for energy efficiency, demand response, and grid reliability
- Willingness to travel across a geographically large region
- A self‑starter mindset—well suited to individuals who thrive when working independently
