Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts is seeking a Part-Time Senior Sales Associate to support students, parents, and educators in our retail store. You'll guide customers in selecting band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons, while delivering outstanding, education-focused service. Responsibilities include consultative selling, meeting sales goals, processing rentals, maintaining merchandising standards, coordinating with lesson programs, and supporting school events. You'll work in a collaborative, music-loving team environment with opportunities to grow your skills in retail, customer service, and music education support.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative sales support for instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales and rental goals
• Process sales, rentals, and lesson enrollments accurately at the POS system
• Maintain merchandising, inventory presentation, and store cleanliness standards
• Support lesson program operations and coordinate with instructors as needed
• Assist with in-store events and school outreach to promote music education
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and educators
• Handle basic instrument rental questions and direct repair needs appropriately
• Resolve customer issues with a service-driven, student-focused approach
• Collaborate with team members to achieve store performance targets
