Outside Sales Representative Job Tacoma area,Washington USA,Sales

Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities for Company. Provides leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with company vision and values. Establishes plans and strategies to expand and maintain the customer base by identifying potential customers, participating in market analysis, and calling on existing and potential customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and develop key specialty retail and distributor accounts.
Develop new accounts through leads derived via trade shows and customer inquires.
Develop sales and marketing plans including: analyze past sales and marketing programs, create sales and marketing plans based on findings, and sell those plans and programs to local and national brokers and new accounts.
Build relationships with new clients for premix and pasta business.
Maintain long-term relationships existing client base for premix and pasta business.
Balance multiple priorities and handle a heavy workload.
Think strategically, communicate clearly and execute consistently.
Use strong presentation skills for client communications, marketing plans and proposals.

QUALIFICATIONS

5 years of previous sales experience.

Previous sales experience in food service or business segments is desirable.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.

Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, finance, management, or other related business discipline preferred.

Computer Literate including the use of Microsoft Office products.

Must be able to perform each "essential duty and responsibility" satisfactorily.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, accounting procedures and governmental regulations.

Ability to write reports and business correspondence.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, auditors and government officials.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables related to sales.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram and/or schedule form.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Air conditioned office environment. International and domestic travel will be required up to 50% of the time.
