US Department of Defense - Joint Base Lewis-McChord - Responsibilities:
Performs a full range of simple cooking of items that require little to no processing and prepping foods by peeling, chopping, cutting, grinding, pureeing, dredging and etc.;
Operates and cleans a variety of different standard kitchen equipment that use multiple types of heat sources such as gas, electricity, steam and/or microwave.;
Maintains a clean workspace and follows established sanitation procedures when handling food.;
Ensures foods are properly cooked and stored at the correct temperatures to prevent the growth of bacteria.;
Performs other duties as assigned.
