We are currently seeking a Concierge / Security Guard to support our clinic in Tacoma, WA. This position, reporting to the Clinic Director, is an excellent opportunity for someone excited to make an immediate and lasting impact in a growing company.
Position OverviewAt Cedar Wellness Center, the safety of our patients and community is our top priority. As a Concierge, you will be the first person to interact with patients, visitors, and neighboring businesses. Your responsibilities include maintaining a calm, professional presence, delivering excellent customer service, and patrolling the exterior and interior of the building to ensure safety. You will participate in crisis management, perform security patrols, enforce clinic policies, maintain visibility, and report any incidents or concerns to the Clinic Director.
Minimum Requirements- High School Diploma (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Security experience preferred; experience in both private and public sectors is a plus.
- English required;
Spanish desired. - Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills.
- Professional appearance, strong work ethic, and positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license.
- Availability for early morning shifts, including 5:30 a.m. start times.
- Health clearance and TB clearance required.
- Passed background check and urine drug screen.
- Passion for working with people, even on tough days.

- Assisting with crowd control and cooperating with first‑responders.
- Other duties as required.
The role requires frequent standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Duties involve indoor and outdoor settings, use of a keyboard, and communication with staff and patients. Reasonable accommodations may be available for qualified individuals with disabilities.
Salary$28 per hour.
