Physical Security Specialist

US Department of Defense - Joint Base Lewis-McChord - Responsibilities:
Serve as primary action officer for developing, managing, validating and providing recommendations to Chief, Security and Access Control Division in matters pertaining to Weapons System Security and security of other US Air Force assets at JBLM;
Manage the Security Program for the McChord Field Flight line which ensures that individuals requiring flight line access have been vetted and issued the appropriate clearance badges;
Serve as Physical Security Section point of contact to the 627th Security Forces Squadron Commander for policy and long range Physical Security planning;
Monitors security programs, judges adequacy and advises security officers and commanders of state-of-the art methods to cope with threats and vulnerabilities;
Plan analysis and development of new physical security techniques, procedures and policy for a wide variety of security applications
