** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, riders, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, local authorities, and/or site contacts as appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of stations, platforms, parking areas, office spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points, observe public areas, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or maintenance issues in accordance with site procedures.

+ Support orderly operations by assisting with directions, answering questions, documenting daily activity, and completing incident reports with accuracy and professionalism.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Handcuffing certification is preferred.

+ A guard card/license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
