Larson Hyundai is seeking an experienced Journeyman Technician who brings advanced diagnostic expertise, efficiency, and pride in craftsmanship to a busy, well-established service department. If you’re the technician others turn to for the tough jobs, complex diagnostics, and mentorship—and you want consistent work in a modern, respected Hyundai dealership—this is where your experience truly pays off.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs across all vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, drivability, HVAC, and hybrid/electric systems
  • Diagnose and resolve high-level electrical and CAN/network issues efficiently and accurately
  • Handle complex warranty and customer-pay repairs to Hyundai factory standards
  • Serve as a technical resource for other technicians when needed
  • Collaborate closely with Service Advisors to clearly explain repair needs and technical findings
  • Maintain high productivity while upholding quality, safety, and customer satisfaction standards
What We’re Looking For
  • Journeyman or Master-level diagnostic skillset with proven efficiency
  • Multiple ASE certifications (Master ASE preferred or in progress)
  • Strong electrical and drivability diagnostic abilities
  • Consistent, reliable, and comfortable working in a high-volume shop
  • Professional mindset with leadership-by-example approach

Requirements

  • Applicants must be able to Perform Diagnostics and Repairs on late model vehicles.
  • Must be able to work well with others within a team concept and environment.
  • Candidates must have excellent work ethics, communication skills and the ability to execute maintenance and repair processes that meet time expectations to be successful.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable to drive.
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check and illegal drug screening.
