Field Service Technician II – Gaming

Position Summary:

This candidate will cover the Spokane &

E. Washington area and region.

• Perform scheduled calls, installs, conversions, removals, and preventative maintenance (PM) at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot customer problems via telephone and on-site, including repair, installation, and removal of company equipment with limited supervision.
• Install, set up, configure, and perform preventive maintenance on EGMs, PTG, ETG, and all utility products.
• Accurately track time and use ADP to record time daily.
• Follow Fleet Vehicle Policy; keep and track part inventory.
• Learn and understand Light & Wonder gaming products, including theory of operation, abnormal operation, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Use Salesforce to manage customer tickets, inventory, product support, and parts requests.
• Apply safety training and wear PPE (safety equipment, steel toe shoes, hard hat, safety goggles, and gloves).
• Safely use common hand and power tools, including screwdrivers, nut drivers, wrenches, hammers, center punches, drills, multimeters, polarity checkers, and saws.
• Support other creators on all utilities/EGM products.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in proper, safe condition; report any that need repair or replacement promptly.
• Return completed paperwork for processing in a timely manner.
• Provide high quality service to customers.
• Troubleshoot problems down to component level using internal diagnostic tests, options, and functional testing.
• Visit clients and perform gaming maintenance.
• Perform basic repair and preventive maintenance on assembly‑level components.
• Train less experienced technicians on troubleshooting techniques.
• Stay abreast of the latest technology and related technical bulletins from Light & Wonder; install updates in the field as required.
• Replace faulty components when authorized by the customer.
• Verify property specifications so game options and parameters can be set accordingly.
• Review customer issues with management and tech support.
• Ensure customers are satisfied with Light & Wonder equipment.

• Must be at least 21 years old, as required by law.
• Basic electrical or mechanical knowledge.
• One to two years of experience in assembly, testing, or repair of electronic devices or mechanical repair.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license for the state in which you are based.
• Valid gaming card or ability to obtain one.
• Basic mechanical assembly skills.
• Basic knowledge of electricity, electronics, and mechanics of gaming‑type devices.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and service manuals.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Desire to lead and help others.
• Problem‑solving skills.
• Pleasant personality, especially toward customers.

Must be able to lift, push, or move heavy equipment over 70 lbs.

The work conditions are representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations.

Primary staffing location:
Eastern Washington. Preferred:
Spokane, WA.
