Job Summary
Road Technician (Pump and Power Road) – responsibilities include troubleshooting and diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical equipment problems, performing advanced repairs on all types of equipment, and providing solutions to customers’ needs. The role may also lead and train other team members in the absence of a Shop Foreman or Service Manager.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical equipment problems.
- Perform advanced or complex repairs on all types of equipment and scope customers’ needs.
- Provide solutions and recommend equipment for customers’ projects.
- Lead and train other team members when a Shop Foreman or Service Manager is absent.
- 5–7 years of experience repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- DOT Physical Examination (Medical card) completed.
- EPA Section
608 universal certification required. - Advanced understanding and repair of mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment, generators, HVAC and air compressors.
- Advanced understanding of refrigeration (EPA certified).
- Mastery of load‑bank repairs.
- Advanced understanding of electrical engines and controllers.
- Experience with dehumidification equipment from CDI and Munters.
- Experience and comprehension of VFDs, VSDs, soft starts, and “across the line” motor starting preferred.
- Factory diesel, generator, compressor, or HVAC training is an asset.
- Related experience may include:

- Bending, squatting, crouching, reaching.
- Lifting 25 pounds or more.
- Work indoors or outdoors as required.
Base Pay Range: $29.77 – $42.80 per hour. The starting rate may vary based on position, location, education, training, and experience.
