General Carpenter

Duties

Assists the foreman in completing projects on time and on budget. Performs tasks such as cutting, hammering, moving materials and tools, climbing ladders, digging, and overhead work. Ensures self-compliance with safety standards.

Most of our jobsites are located in Skagit, Island, and Snohomish Counties with occasional work in outlying areas. Hotel and per diem allowance provided if jobs are more than 2 hours away from our shop.

Construction background preferred. Will train the right person if construction is your passion. Must be willing to change gears quickly and often. Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites. Applicants should have the physical ability to lift 50-75lbs on occasion and the manual dexterity to use hand and power tools correctly and safely. Must be willing and able to work in all types of weather.

Forklift certification/experience a plus. Spane Buildings is a drug‑free workplace. Pre‑employment drug testing required.
