Job SummaryUnder minimal supervision, responsible for the installation of electrical and mechanical components on SAFE Boats products.

- 4-day Work Week, Monday – Thursday.
- Thorough understanding of 12V dc electrical systems, including crimping, soldering and basic trouble shooting using multi meter.
- Ability to layout, build and install subsystems from schematics, including development of part list ordering parts, assembling components and testing.
- Understanding of gasoline and/or diesel powerplants, including basic automotive mechanical skills
- Familiar with general shop safety procedures and operation of hand / pneumatic tools.
- Understanding of ABYC standards desired.
- Mil-Spec electrical systems and components experience desired
- Basic math and measurement capabilities
- Strong communication skills- both active listening and relaying information to others
- Critical Thinking and problem-solving abilities
- High School Diploma (GED/High School Equivalence Certificate)
- Three or more years of experience in a related field or education equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience working on SAFE Boats for a similar platform/product
- Lift to 40 lbs.
• Grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, crawling, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• Bend, stoop, squat and stretch to complete tasks
• Must be able to work at heights and/or confined spaces
• Forklift and scissor lift operations
