Irrigation Technician

• Perform irrigation start‑ups, winterizations, and associated maintenance for interior points of connection (e.g., mechanical rooms) as well as exterior sites.
• Diagnose functional issues with drip irrigation, spray systems, two‑wire and conventional wired systems and associated components (mainline, laterals, double‑check assemblies, all irrigation timers).
• In all phases and components of irrigation installation.
• Solve small sprinkler problems (wire valves, fix leaks, mend broken sprinkler heads) to ensure systems operate properly.
• Maintain professional, safe, and efficient work practices.
• Coordinate with account representatives to resolve problems, answer questions, and provide site status updates.
• Manage security, operator maintenance, and proper use of all assigned equipment (truck and tools).
• Demonstrate leadership at all times.

• Ability to review, comprehend, and apply plans and specifications for each project.
• Proficient English reading and writing skills.
• Effective verbal communication with relevant personnel.
• Valid Washington State driver’s license.
• High school education or GED, minimum.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in the landscape and irrigation field/industry.
• Physical capability to perform the labor associated with landscape construction.
• Physical ability to tolerate job‑related materials and severe weather conditions.
