Summary

As the plant maintenance mechanic reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be a key member of the maintenance team. Responsibilities include predictive and preventive maintenance programs for machinery and equipment, such as bucket elevators, conveyors, compressors, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain production and quality by ensuring efficient operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
  • Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for issues, and using precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Remove defective parts by dismantling devices; safely use hoists, cranes, hand and power tools.
  • Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories.
What You’ll Bring
  • Associate degree in Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent combined experience and education.
  • At least five years of heavy industrial mechanical and millwright experience in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and diligence in follow‑up.
  • Knowledge of root‑cause analysis and fault‑free analysis techniques.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
What You’ll Receive

As of the date of this posting, the estimated pay scale for this position is $37.60 to $47.99 per hour. Placement depends on experience, skills, geography and internal equity. The role qualifies for benefits and eligibility for a bonus plan. Benefits include:
